BRIAN MELANCON RETIRES; BOUT WITH WHITTAKER SCRAPPED

UFC veteran Brian Melancon has announced his retirement from MMA competition following serious issues with his kidneys, thus his UFC Fight Night 33 bout against Robert Whittaker has been scrapped. The Melancon/Whittaker fight was set for the main card, the fight that will be promoted to the main card has yet to be announced. UFC Fight Night 33 takes place on December 6th from the Brisbane Entertainment Centre in Brisbane, Australia with Mark Hunt and Antonio Silva headlining.
