Welcome to the PWInsiderXtra.com live coverage of the Bellator 109 Preliminary Card, live from the Sands Bethlehem Events Center in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania.

Fight #1 - Bellator Featherweight Division Fight

Lester Caslow (10-8-0) vs. Jay Haas (11-12-0)

Referee: Bill Bookwalter

Round One

The round begins with Haas attacking Caslow with a front kick, Haas also starts to catch Caslow with a few leg kicks. Caslow returns the favor by attacking Haas with leg kicks of his own, Caslow then cracks a swinging Haas with a counter left hook. Caslow tries to hit Haas with a spinning back kick and it gets blocked, Haas grabs a hold of Caslow before putting him up against the cage wall. The fighters move away from the wall and Haas attacks Caslow with a punching combination as the round ends.

Round Two

The round begins with Caslow attacking Haas with a variety of kicks, Haas attempts a spinning back fist on Caslow. Caslow starts nailing Haas with a bunch of leg kicks, Haas comes forward on Caslow while throwing a front kick. Haas continuously tries to attack Caslow with striking combinations, Caslow then pops a charging Haas with a few counter strikes. Haas then hits Caslow with a left hook, Caslow scores a takedown on Haas and he quickly moves to side control. Haas eventually forces Caslow into the full guard position, Caslow transitions to the half guard on Haas as the round ends.

Round Three

The round begins with Caslow attacking Haas with a high kick, Haas responds by clobbering Caslow with an overhand right. Caslow goes back to attacking Haas with some leg kicks, Haas then hits Caslow with a front kick to the face. Caslow drops Haas with a right to the face, Caslow pounces on Haas before attempting a guillotine choke. Haas eventually taps out after a long struggle.

Fight Result: Lester Caslow def. Jay Haas by submission via guillotine choke (2:44, R3)

Fight #2 – Bellator Lightweight Division Fight

Brett Glass (2-0-0) vs. Brent Primus (3-0-0)

Referee: Keith Peterson

Round One

The round begins with Glass quickly attacking Primus with leg kicks, Primus then hits an incoming Glass with a right. Glass puts Primus against the cage wall while attacking his thighs with knee strikes, Primus starts looking for the takedown on Glass. Primus finally gets the takedown on Glass and he gets the half guard, Primus starts to attack Glass with ground and pound while gaining back control. Primus locks in the rear naked choke and a tap out follows.

Fight Result: Brent Primus def. Brett Glass by submission via rear naked choke (3:20, R1)

Fight #3 – Bellator Lightweight Division Fight

Bubba Jenkins (4-1-0) vs. Ian Rammel (5-5-0)

Referee: Dan Miragliotta

Round One

The round begins with Jenkins cracks Rammel with a right hook, Jenkins scores a takedown on Rammel and he gets the full guard. Jenkins starts to attack Rammel with some ground and pound, Jenkins mixes in some elbow strikes in his attack on Rammel. Jenkins eventually transitions to the half guard on Rammel, Jenkins continues to pressure Rammel with strikes. The referee stands up the fighters after inactivity and Jenkins quickly scores a takedown on Rammel, Jenkins hits Rammel with more strikes as the round ends.

Round Two

The round begins with Rammel attacking Jenkins with some leg kicks, Jenkins quickly puts Rammel down with a takedown. Jenkins transitions to the half guard on Rammel, Jenkins quickly attacks Rammel with some ground and pound. Rammel eventually puts Jenkins into the butterfly guard, Jenkins advances to the half guard on Rammel. Jenkins keeps on attacking Rammel with some ground and pound as the round ends.

Round Three

The round begins with Jenkins quickly scoring a takedown on Rammel and he gets the full guard, Jenkins attacks Rammel with some ground and pound. Jenkins postures up before attempting a jumping punch on Rammel, Jenkins also attacks Rammel with a few elbow strikes. Jenkins transitions to the full mount on Rammel, Jenkisn attacks Rammel with a lot of strikes until the referee jumps in.

Fight Result: Bubba Jenkins def. Ian Rammel by TKO via strikes (2:38, R3)

Fight #4 – Bellator Catchweight Division Fight

Saul Almeida (13-4-0) vs. Goiti Yamauchi (15-1-0)

Referee: Keith Peterson

Round One

The round begins with Almeida peppering Yamauchi with a few strikes, Yamauchi then cracks Ameida with a few lefts. Yamauchi forces Almeida onto the cage wall while hitting him with short range strikes, Yamauchi cracks Almeida with a standing elbow strike. Yamauchi follows that up by dropping Almeida with a punching combination, Yamauchi pounces on Almeida and the referee jumps in.

Fight Result: Goiti Yamauchi def. Saul Almeida by TKO via strikes (2:04, R1)

Fight #5 – Bellator Heavyweight Division Fight

Keith Bell (4-3-0) vs. Blagoi Ivanov (8-0-0)

Referee: Bill Bookwalter

Round One

The round begins with Bell attacking Ivanov with a high kick, Bell follows that up by popping Ivanov with a right. Bell then drops Ivanov with a flying knee strike, Ivanov gets back up and Bell forces him against the cage wall. Bell continues to hit Ivanov with knee strikes to the midsection, Ivanov starts attacking Bell with some leg kicks. Bell responds by catching Ivanov with a counter right, Ivanov rocks pair with a trio of punches to the face. Ivanov scores a takedown on Bell and he gets the half guard, Ivanov quickly gets back control and he locks in the rear naked choke to force a tap out.

Fight Result: Blagoi Ivanov def. Keith Bell by submission via rear naked choke (3:59, R1)

Fight #6 - Bellator Lightweight Division Fight

Ahsan Abdulla (5-3-0) vs. Mike Bannon (4-1-0)

Referee: Bill Bookwalter

Round One

The round begins with the fighters swinging wildly at each other, Bannon grabs a hold of Abdulla before nailing him with a few knee strikes. Bannon scores a takedown on Abdulla and he gets the half guard, Bannon transitions to the side control position on Abdulla. Bannon attacks Abdulla with a few knee strikes before gaining the full mount, Bannon locks in an arm triangle choke and Abdulla goes out cold.

Fight Result: Mike Bannon def. Ahsan Abdulla by submission via arm triangle choke (1:51, R1)
