Fight #7 - Bellator Lightweight Division Fight

Terry Etim (15-5-0) vs. Patrick Cenoble (9-2-1)

Referee: Keith Peterson

Round One

The round begins with Etim quickly scoring a takedown on Cenoble and he gets the full guard, Etim transitions to back control on Cenoble. Etim then moves to the full mount position on Cenoble before getting forced into the half guard, Cenoble then puts Etim back into the full guard. Etim starts to attack Cenoble with some elbow strikes, Etim regains back control on Cenoble after a short scramble. Etim starts to look for some submissions on Cenoble, Etim also peppers Cenoble with some short range strikes. Etim looks for the rear naked choke as the round ends.

Round Two

The round begins with Etim attempting a high kick on Cenoble, Etim starts hunting for the takedown on Cenoble and he eventually gets it. Etim occasionally catches Cenoble with some ground and pound, Etim transitions to the half guard on Cenoble. Cenoble eventually forces Etim back into the full guard position, the referee stands up the fighters after inactivity and Cenoble attacks Etim with some leg kicks. Etim attacks Cenoble with a head kick before scoring a takedown, Etim quickly advances to side control on Cenoble. Cenoble causes a scramble to get the fight standing once again as the round ends.

Round Three

The round begins with Etim popping Cenoble with a few punches before gaining the takedown, Etim eventually transitions to side control on Cenoble. Etim occasionally attacks Cenoble with some ground and pound, Etim transitions to back control on Cenoble. Etim starts looking for some submissions on Cenoble, Cenoble sweeps at the right time to get on top of Etim as the round ends.

Fight Result: Terry Etim def. Patrick Cenoble by unanimous decision (30-27, 29-28, 30-26)

Fight #8 - Bellator Season Nine Lightweight Tournament Finals

Will Brooks (12-1-0) vs. Alexander Sarnavskiy (25-1-0)

Round One

The round begins with Sarnavskiy attacking Brooks with some leg kicks, Brooks responds by landing some leg kicks of his own. Brooks grabs a hold of Sarnavskiy and puts him up against the cage wall, the fighters battle for position along the cage wall while landing some knee strikes on each other. Brooks attacks Sarnavskiy with a multiple strike combination, Brooks grabs a hold of Sarnavskiy while nailing him with knee strikes. Brooks scores a takedown on Sarnavskiy and he gets the half guard, Sarnavskiy quickly forces Brooks into the full guard. Brooks starts to attack Sarnavskiy with some ground and pound, Sarnavskiy scrambles to get the fight standing again. Brooks eats some knee strikes before scoring a takedown on Sarnavskiy, Brooks attacks Sarnavskiy with more ground and pound while advancing to the half guard as the round ends.

Round Two

The round begins with Sarnavskiy attacking Brooks with a variety of kicks, Sarnavskiy also attempts a spinning back fist on Brooks. Brooks holds Sarnavskiy against the cage wall while landing a few knee strikes, Brooks scores a takedown on Sarnavskiy and he gets the full guard. Brooks starts to attack Sarnavskiy with some ground and pound, Brooks occasionally hits Sarnavskiy with elbow strikes as well. Brooks transitions to back control on Sarnavskiy while landing more strikes, Brooks advances to full mount while attacking Sarnavskiy with strikes as the round ends.

Round Three

The round begins with Brooks attacking Sarnavskiy with a bunch of kicks, Brooks scores a takedown on Sarnavskiy and he gets the full guard. Brooks goes back to attacking Sarnavskiy with some ground and pound, Brooks continues attacking Sarnavskiy with a ton of strikes. Sarnavskiy occasionally opens his guard and nothing comes of it, Brooks keeps on peppering Sarnavskiy with a lot of short range strikes. Brooks transitions to the half guard on Sarnavskiy as he lands more strikes, Brooks then advances to the full mount on Sarnavskiy and then he gains back control as the round ends.

Fight Result: Will Brooks def. Alexander Sarnavskiy by unanimous decision (30-26, 30-27, 30-27)

Fight #9 - Bellator Season Nine Welterweight Tournament Finals

Rick Hawn (17-2-0) vs. Ron Keslar (11-3-0)

Referee: Dan Miragliotta

Round One

The round begins with Keslar quickly attacking Hawn with a high kick, Hawn charges forward and Keslar cracks him with a knee strike. Keslar scores a takedown on Hawn and he gets the half guard, Keslar quickly attacks Hawn with ground and pound. Hawn eventually explodes to his feet with Keslar holding onto him, Hawn cracks a swinging Keslar with a two punch combination. Hawn follows that up by hitting Keslar with a counter right, Hawn then pops Keslar with another two punch combination. Keslar grabs a hold of Hawn to crack him with a few knee strikes, Keslar keeps Hawn against the cage wall as the round ends.

Round Two

The round begins with Hawn nailing Keslar with a short right, Keslar then cracks a swinging Hawn with a four punch combination. Keslar cracks Hawn with knee strikes while keeping him against the cage wall, Hawn recovers by popping Keslar with a right. Hawn tries to keep Keslar at bay by throwing a lot of jabs at him, Keslar continues to look for the takedown on Hawn. The referee separates the fighters after inactivity and Keslar nails Hawn with an uppercut, Hawn responds by landing a two punch combo on Keslar as the round ends.

Round Three

The round begins with Hawn immediately nailing Keslar with some jabs, Hawn then cracks Keslar with a plethora of uppercuts. Hawn then nails Keslar with a bunch of rights that rocks him badly, Hawn then drops Keslar with another right and the referee jumps in.

Fight Result: Rick Hawn def. Ron Keslar by KO via punch (0:55, R3)

Main Event - Bellator Middleweight Title Fight

Alexander Shlemenko (48-7-0) (Champion) vs. Doug Marshall (18-6-0)

Referee: Dan Miragliotta

Round One

The round begins with Marshall attacking Shlemenko with some leg kicks, Shlemenko then scores a takedown on Marshall and they get back up quickly. Shlemenko holds onto Marshall and both fighters exchange some short strikes, Shlemenko tries nailing Marshall with a spinning back kick. Shlemenko scores another takedown on Marshall and he gets the full guard, Marshall uses a sweep to get the fight standing. Shlemenko starts attacking Marshall with a variety of kicks to the body, Marshall recovers by cracking Shlemenko with a right. Shlemenko forces Marshall against the cage wall while working over his midsection, Shlemenko then rocks Marshall with a left hook to the midsection. Shlemenko destroys Marshall with a left hook to the rib cage and the referee jumps in.

Fight Result: Alexander Shlemenko def. Doug Marshall by KO via punch (4:28, R1)
