Former lightweight competitor Thiago Tavares will make his featherweight debut at UFC Fight Night 36 against Zubair Tuhugov. Tavares went 8-5-1 during his stint as a lightweight in the UFC, a stint in the promotion that lasted over six years. Tuhugov will be making his UFC debut in this fight and will do so on the strength of a six fight winning streak. UFC Fight Night 36 takes place on February 15th from the Arena Jaragua in Jaragua Do Sul, Brazil with Lyoto Machida and Gegard Mousasi headlining.
