An already re-booked (multiple times) bout between UFC Light Heavyweight Champion Jon Jones and Glover Teixeira. Jones will be making the seventh defense of his championship at the event, he last defended it against Alexander Gustafsson at UFC 165. Teixeira will enter the fight riding a twenty fight winning streak, with ten of those victories coming over current of past UFC veterans. UFC 171 takes place on March 15th from the American Airlines Arena in Dallas, Texas with the aforementioned fighters headlining.
