Gesias Cavalcante has suffered an injury and is off the World Series Of Fighting VIII card, replacing him against Justin Gaethje for the inaugural WSOF Lightweight Title will be Lewis Gonzalez. Gaethje is currently undefeated in WSOF competition, last defeating Dan Lauzon by TKO at the WSOF VI. Gonzalez is also undefeated in WSOF competition, with his win coming over Antonio McKee at the WSOF IV. World Series Of Fighting VIII takes place on January 18th from the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Hollywood, Florida with the aforementioned fighters headlining.
