UFC veteran and women’s MMA pioneer Julie Kedzie has announced her retirement from the sport, she does so with a record of 16-13-0. Kedzie’s MMA career last well over nine years, she fought top names like Jan Finney, Shayna Baszler, Tara LaRosa, Gina Carano, Kelly Kobold, Tonya Evinger, Sarah D’Alelio, Alexis Davis, Miesha Tate and Germaine De Randamie. Kedzie’s last fight was at UFC Fight Night 33 where she lost a controversial decision to Bethe Correia. Besides being an MMA fighter, Kedzie is also an integral part of the Invicta FC broadcast team, having been part of the first six events.
