UFC and Strikeforce veteran Shane Del Rosario, 30, has passed away from complications of a heart attack suffered two weeks ago. Del Rosario had a professional MMA record of 11-2-0, primarily competing for the aforementioned UFC and Strikeforce promotions. During his seven year MMA career, Del Rosario fought top names like Carl Seumanutafa, Lavar Johnson, Stipe Miocic and Pat Barry. Del Rosario was scheduled for a fight against Guto Innocente at UFC 168 prior to a rib injury causing him to be pulled from the fight, he would sadly never fight again.
