A welterweight division contest has been added to UFC 170 as Stephen Thompson is in action against Robert Whittaker. Thompson has won three of four under the UFC banner, with a notable victory over Chris Clements at UFC 165. Whittaker was the winner of the UFC Ultimate Fighter: The Smashes, but is coming off of a loss to Court McGee. UFC 170 takes place on February 22nd from the Mandalay Bay Events Center in Las Vegas, Nevada with Daniel Cormier and Rashad Evans headlining.
