Lewis Gonzalez has suffered an injury and is off the World Series Of Fighting VIII card, replacing him against Justin Gaethje for the inaugural WSOF Lightweight Title will be Richard Patishnock. Gaethje has won all three of his previous WSOF bouts, last defeating UFC veteran Dan Lauzon at WSOF VI. Patishnock is also undefeated in WSOF competition, with his victories coming over both Igor and Gregor Gracie. Patishnock was originally set to fight Luis Palomino on the preliminary card, there is no word yet on who will replace him against Palomino. World Series Of Fighting VIII takes place on January 18th from the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Hollywood, Florida with the aforementioned fighters headlining.
