Fight #7 - UFC Bantamweight Division Fight

Kang Kyung Ho (11-7-0-1NC) vs. Shunichi Shimizu (28-8-10)

Referee: Steve Percival

Round One

The round begins with Ho attempting a spinning heel kick on Shimizu, Ho also starts attacking Shimizu with some leg kicks. Ho catches a ducking Shimizu with a knee strike to the head, Ho postures up on Shimizuto catch him with a few strikes. Ho gets the full mount on Shimizu and he rolls for alternating arm bars and triangle choke, Ho also hits Shimizu with some elbow strikes. Ho hits Shimizu with some illegal elbow strikes and the fight is halted, the fight resumes with Shimizu attempting a diving heel hook on Ho and it fails badly. Ho scores a takedown on Shimizu and he gets the open guard, Ho postures up on Shimizu to attack him with some strikes. Shimizu attempts a spinning heel kick as the round ends.

(Note: The referee takes two points away from Ho in the first round for the illegal elbow strikes.)

Round Two

The round begins with Ho attacking Shimizu with some more leg kicks, Shimizu looks for the takedown and Ho attacks him with elbow strikes. Shimizu pulls guard on Ho and he eats a ton of strikes for his efforts, Ho gains the full mount on Shimizu. Ho begins to attack Shimizu with a lot of ground and pound, Ho starts to primarily attack Shimizu with elbow strikes. Shimizu sweeps Ho at the right time to get on top of him, Ho scrambles to get himself back on top of Shimizu. Ho goes back to attacking Shimizu with ground and pound, Ho postures up while landing strikes on Shimizu as the round ends.

Round Three

The round begins with Shimizu scoring a takedown on Ho, Ho quickly sweeps Shimizu to get back on top of him. Ho starts attacking Shimizu with some ground and pound, Ho also mixes in some elbow strikes in his attack on Shimizu. Ho postures up while attacking Shimizu with a lot more strikes, Ho advances to side control on Shimizu after a scramble. Ho then transitions to the full mount position on Shimizu, Ho locks in an arm triangle choke on Shimizu and a tap out follows.

Fight Result: Kang Kyung Ho def. Shunichi Shimizu by submission via arm triangle choke (3:53, R3)

Fight #8 - UFC Welterweight Division Fight

Luiz Dutra (11-2-1) vs. Kiichi Kunimoto (15-5-2-1NC)

Referee: John Sharp

Round One

The round begins with Kunimoto quickly putting Dutra up against the cage wall, Kunimoto then pops Dutra with a two punch combination. Kunimoto also starts attacking Dutra with some leg kicks, Dutra responds by cracking Kunimoto with a pair of punches. Kunimoto then hits a swinging Dutra with a counter right, Kunimoto looks for the takedown and Dutra nails him with a bunch of illegal elbow strikes and the fight is halted. The fight is waved off after the doctor deems that Kunimoto is unable to continue.

Fight Result: Kiichi Kunimoto def. Luiz Dutra by disqualification via illegal strikes (2:57, R1)

Fight #9 - UFC Featherweight Division Fight

Tatsuya Kawajiri (32-7-2) vs. Sean Soriano (8-0-0)

Referee: Steve Percival

Round One

The round begins with Soriano nailing an incoming Kawajiri with a knee strike, Sriano then pops Kawajiri with a quick right. Kawajiri grabs a hold of Soriano and he puts him up against the cage wall, Soriano breaks free after hitting Kawajiri with a knee strike. Soriano also begins to attack Kawajiri with leg kicks, Kawajiri scores a takedown and Soriano pops right back up. Soriano nails Kawajiri with elbow strikes before he gets taken down, Soriano pops back up to his feet to get the fight standing. Kawajiri drags Soriano back down to the ground and he gets back control, Kawajiri starts hunting for the submission on Soriano. Kawajiri begins to attack Soriano with some ground and pound as the round ends.

Round Two

The round begins with the fighters engaging in a grappling battle, Kawajiri scores a takedown on Soriano and he gets back control. Kawajiri locks in the rear naked choke and Soriano goes out cold.

Fight Result: Tatsuya Kawajiri def. Sean Soriano by submission via rear naked choke (0:50, R2)

Main Event - UFC Welterweight Division Fight

Tarec Saffiedine (14-3-0) vs. Lim Hyun Gyu (12-3-1)

Referee: Leon Roberts

Round One

The round begins with Saffiedine attacking Gyu with some leg kicks, Gyu responds by nailing Saffiedine with a running knee strike. Gyu also attacks Saffiedine with a variety of kicks, Gyu again attacks Saffiedine with a knee strike before scoring a takedown on him. Saffiedine scrambles at the right time to get the fight standing, Gyu eats a few kicks before nailing Saffiedine with a counter right. Gyu follows that up by landing a kick to the midsection of Saffiedine, Gyu hits Saffiedine with a knee strike and a short right. Saffiedine cracks Gyu with a right as the round ends.

Round Two

The round begins with Saffiedine attacking Gyu with a front kick, Saffiedine rocks Gyu with a pair of rights during a wild striking exchange. Gyu starts to pepper Saffiedine with a plethora of jabs, Saffiedine goes back to attacking Gyu with leg kicks. Saffiedine continuously catches Gyu with a lot of rights, Saffiedine attacks the rib cage of Gyu with a right hook. Gyu charges forward on Saffiedine with a series of strikes, Saffiedine backs up Gyu by popping him with a left hook as the round ends.

Round Three

The round begins with Saffiedine quickly attacking Gyu with kicks, Gyu begins to attack Saffiedine with kicks of his own. Saffiedine drops Gyu with a wild right to the top of the head, Saffiedine scores a takedown on Gyu after landing a switch kick. Gyu shakes Saffiedine off of him and the fighters stand up again, Saffiedine drops Gyu with a pair of leg kicks. Saffiedine moves on top of Gyu and he gets the half guard, Saffiedine starts attacking Gyu with ground and pound. The referee stands up the fighters after inactivity and Saffiedine again drops Gyu with leg kicks as the round ends.

Round Four

The round begins with Gyu charging forward and throwing wild strikes at Saffiedine, Saffiedine attacks the injured leg of Gyu with kicks. Saffiedine also starts catching Gyu with a lot of rights to the head, Saffiedine then cracks Gyu with a knee strike to the midsection. Saffiedine then drops Gyu with a flying knee strike to the head, Saffiedine moves on top of a downed Gyu. Saffiedine starts to attack Gyu with some ground and pound, Saffiedine transitions to the full mount on Gyu. Saffiedine then advances to the side control position on Gyu, Saffiedine attacks Gyu with more strikes as the round ends.

Round Five

The round begins with Saffiedine destroying Gyu with some leg kicks, Gyu recovers by nailing Saffiedine with a striking combination. Gyu then rocks Saffiedine with a knee strike to the midsection, Saffiedine then catches Gyu with a pair of rights. Gyu again connects with a knee strike to the rib cage of Saffiedine, Saffiedine then drops Gyu with a leg kick. Saffiedine cracks Gyu with a leg kick and Gyu screams in anger, Gyu then cracks Saffiedine with a two punch combination. Saffiedine responds by landing a kick on the midsection of Gyu, Gyu catches Saffiedine with a knee strike to the midsection. Gyu crushes Saffiedine with a flying knee strike as the round ends.

Fight Result: Tarec Saffiedine def. Lim Hyun Gyu by unanimous decision (49-46, 48-47, 48-47)
