Following the injury to Nate Loughran, Takenori Sato has agreed to step in on short notice to fight Erick Silva at UFC Fight Night 36. Sato will make his UFC debut on the strength of an eight fight winning streak and he is a longtime veteran of the Pancrase promotion. Silva has rotated wins and losses throughout his UFC run, with his last fight being a loss to Dong Hyun Kim at UFC Fight Night 29. UFC Fight Night 36 takes place on February 15th from the Arena Jaragua in Jaragua Do Sul, Brazil with Lyoto Machida and Gegard Mousasi headlining.
