UFC veteran Matt Brown recently came under a lot of fire for comments he made about women’s MMA, those comments were…
“I just think this, if I’m [going] to pay $60 for a [UFC] Pay-Per-View to watch women fight, they should at least be topless.â€
The comments were made on a Sound Cloud podcast, just about anybody from the world of MMA has already commented on the situation.
The UFC issued the following statement…
“Matt Brown has apologized for the comments made on his podcast, and we have addressed the matter with him. His comments don’t reflect the views of the UFC. There’s no place for discrimination within our organization at any level. The UFC is built on principles of respect, and any statements to the contrary are not acceptable.â€
There is no word yet on any public form of punishment from the UFC to Brown, but this will definitely not be the end of this one.
