Cage Warriors 64 will be the first card of 2014 from the UK-based MMA organization, four bouts have been announced for the event and they are James Pennington versus Cory Tait, David Lee versus Nad Narimani, Spencer Hewitt versus Scott Pooley, plus Laura Howarth versus Amanda Kelly. Pennington is currently undefeated in Cage Warriors, defeating both James Dollan and Kris Edwards respectively. Tait is returning to Cage Warriors after a three year absence, he last fought in the promotion with a victory over John Brightwell at Cage Warriors 38.
Lee is a veteran of UFC competition and he has won three of his last four fights headlining into his Cage Warriors debut. Narimani will be looking to build on the momentum of his first Cage Warriors win, which came over Athinodoros Michailidis at Cage Warriors 60. Hewitt will enter the fight riding a four fight losing streak and he has not won a fight in well over two years. Pooley has won three of four heading into his Cage Warriors debut and he is a longtime veteran of the Shock N’ Awe promotion.
Howarth made her professional MMA debut at Cage Warriors 63, which is where she defeated Emma Delaney by split decision. Kelly made her professional MMA debut at Cage Warriors 60, she defeated Hannah Stephens by knockout at the event. Cage Warriors 64 takes place on February 15th from The Forum in London, England with no headliner announced at this time.
