Mauricio Zingano, the husband of UFC veteran Cat Zingano, passed away in his Westminster (Colorado) home at the age of 37. Zingano did embark on a professional MMA career for a short time, going 2-0-1 before focusing on training fighters at his gym. The most famous fighter he trained also would become his wife, the aforementioned Cat Zingano, who is currently recovering from knee surgery and is the current top contender to the UFC Bantamweight Title. No cause of death has been named yet by the Jefferson County (CO) Coroner’s Office, no word yet on when that information will be released.
