Longtime heavyweight competitor Pat Barry has been released from the UFC, his current MMA record is 8-7-0. During his run in the UFC, Barry fought such notables as Mirko Cro Cop, Joey Beltran, Cheick Kongo, Stefan Struve, Lavar Johnson, Shane Del Rosario and Shawn Jordan. Barry has stated that he may return to kick boxing instead of MMA following his release, but one would think that both Bellator and the World Series Of Fighting will make him offers.
