The Maximum Fighting Championships Bantamweight Title will be defended at MFC 40 as champion Anthony Birchak defends against Kevin Croom. Birchak will be making the first defense of his championship, which he won by defeating Tito Jones at MFC 38. Croom will enter the fight riding an eight fight winning streak, with his last loss coming to UFC veteran Yaotzin Meza. Maximum Fighting Championships 40 takes place on May 9th from the Shaw Conference Centre in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada with the aforementioned fight headlining.
