Gilbert Melendez has resigned with the UFC and will get an instant shot against UFC Lightweight Champion Anthony Pettis. Prior to getting that title shot, Melendez will first coach opposite Pettis on the UFC Ultimate 20, which will crown the first UFC Women’s Bantamweight Champion. There is no word yet on when the title bout while happen, but the taping on TUF 20 is set for this coming May.
