Fight #5 - UFC Featherweight Division Fight

Hatsu Hioki (26-7-2) vs. Ivan Menjivar (25-11-0)

Referee: Dan Miragliotta

Round One

The round begins with Menjivar scoring a takedown on Hioki, Menjivar starts swinging wildly at Hioki until Hioki stands up. Hioki finds a way to get back control on a standing Menjivar, Menjivar eventually shakes Hioki off of his back. Menjivar recovers to rock Hioki with a two punch combination, Hioki responds by cracking Menjivar with a kick to the midsection. The fighters grapple and battle for position along the cage wall, Hioki scores a takedown on Menjivar and he gets the half guard. Hioki begins to attack Menjivar with some ground and pound, Hioki transitions to back control on Menjivar. Hioki spins for an arm bar and Menjivar escapes as the round ends.

Round Two

The round begins with Menjivar popping Hioki with an uppercut, Menjivar charges forward on Hioki while throwing strikes. Hioki also catches Menjivar with a few kicks to the midsection, the fighters clinch up and Hioki gets the takedown on Menjivar. Hioki quickly advances to the side control position on Menjivar, Hioki transitions to back control on Menjivar. Hioki rolls for the arm bar and Menjivar escaoes to get on top of him, Menjivar cracks Hioki with a knee strike as he stood up. Hioki quickly scores another takedown on Menjivar and he gets the half guard, Hioki attempts a shoulder lock and Menjivar escapes as the round ends.

Round Three

The round begins with Hioki catching Menjivar with a short left, Menjivar responds by popping Hioki with a right. Menjivar drops a kicking Hioki with a counter right, Menjivar pounces on Hioki with some more strikes as he stood back up. Menjivar also catches a dazed Hioki with a standing elbow strike, Menjivar barely misses a head kick attempt on Hioki. Hioki recovers to pop an incoming Menjivar with a counter uppercut, Menjivar then hits Hioki with a kick to the midsection. Hioki scores a takedown on Menjivar and he gets the half guard, Menjivar rolls for a heel hook on Hioki as the round ends.

Fight Result: Hatsu Hioki def. Ivan Menjivar by unanimous decision (29-28, 29-28, 29-28)

Fight #6 - UFC Heavyweight Division Fight

Shawn Jordan (15-5-0) vs. Matt Mitrione (6-3-0)

Referee: Dan Miragliotta

Round One

The round begins with Jordan popping Mitrione with a two punch combo, Jordan also starts to attack Mitrione with leg kicks. Jordan forces Mitrione up against the cage wall while landing some knee strikes, Mitrione catches Jordan with a left hook. Jordan responds by hitting a ducking Mitrione with an uppercut, Jordan starts catching Mitrione with some punching combinations. Mitrione backs up Jordan after catching him with a left hook, Jordan begins to catch Mitrione with a lot of lefts. Mitrione rocks Jordan when he swarms him with strikes, Mitrione then knocks Jordan out when he swarms him a second time with strikes.

Fight Result: Matt Mitrione def. Shawn Jordan by TKO via strikes (4:59, R1)

Fight # 7 - UFC Ultimate Fighter China Welterweight Finals

Zhang Lipeng (7-7-1) vs. Wang Sai (7-4-1)

Referee: Jerin Valel

Round One

The round begins with Lipeng attacking Sai with some leg kicks, both fighters are exchanging a variety of kicks. Lipeng then cracks a kicking Sai with a big right, Sai responds by catching Lipeng with a left hook to the jaw. Lipeng scores a takedown on Sai and he quickly gets back control, Lipeng starts to attack Sai with some ground and pound. Sai escapes a rear naked choke from Lipeng and he winds up on top of him, Sai postures up and almost gets caught in a triangle choke on the way down. Sai quickly scrambles to get back control on Lipeng as the round ends.

Round Two

The round begins with Sai catching Lipeng with a knee strike during a takedown attempt, Lipeng looks for another takedown and Sai makes him pay with elbow strikes. Sai catches Lipeng with an illegal knee strike and the fight is halted, the fight resumes with Lipeng scoring a takedown on Sai. Sai quickly finds a way to stand up with Lipeng holding onto him, Lipeng drags Sai back to the ground and he gets back control. Sai escapes Lipeng and he winds up on top of him, Lipeng rolls for a heel hook and Sai quickly escapes. Sai cracks Lipeng with some ground and pound as the round ends.

Round Three

The round begins with Lipeng attacking Sai with some leg kicks, Sai scores a takedown on Lipeng and he gets the open guard. Lipeng tries his best to work the rubber guard on Sai, the referee stands up the fighters after inactivity and Sai gets back control after a failed Lipeng takedown attempt. Lipeng scrambles and he gets himself on top of Sai, Sai scrambles to escape and he immediately postures up on him. Sai attacks a downed Lipeng with a plethora of leg kicks, Sai eventually settles into the full guard of Lipeng. Sai starts to attack Lipeng with some ground and pound, the referee stands up the fighters for inactivity as the round ends.

Fight Result: Zang Lipeng def. Wang Sai by split decision (29-28, 27-30, 29-28)

Main Event - UFC Welterweight Division Fight

Dong Hyun Kim (18-2-1-1NC) vs. John Hathaway (17-1-0)

Referee: Leon Roberts

Round One

The round begins with Kim quickly tagging Hathaway with a left, Hathaway recovers by clocking Kim with a knee strike. Kim catches Hathaway with a plethora of wild strikes, Hathaway scores a takedown on Kim and they both pop right back up. Kim backs Hathaway against the cage wall while hitting him with a few punches, Hathaway avoids a punch from Kim before nailing him with a knee to the midsection. Hathaway follows that up by catching Kim with a right to the midsection, Kim drops a kicking Hathaway with a counter left and he swarms on him with strikes, Kim eventually settles into the guard of Hathaway. Kim postures up and he crushes Hathaway with an axe kick, Kim purposely allows the fight to be stood up as the round ends.

Round Two

The round begins with Hathaway cracking Kim with an uppercut, Kim responds by cracking Hathaway with a standing elbow strike. Hathaway backs up Kim when he connects with a running knee strike, Hathaway starts catching Kim with a few rights. Hathaway follows that up by hitting Kim with a knee to the midsection, Kim recovers by nailing Hathaway with a wild right. Hathaway responds by nailing Kim with an elbow strike and uppercut, Kim scores a takedown on Hathaway and he gets side control. Kim traps Hathaway in the crucifix for a short time as the round ends.

Round Three

The round begins with Hathaway quickly catching Kim with a knee strike, Hathaway then cracks Kim with a standing elbow strike. Kim cracks Hathaway with a spinning elbow strike from out of nowhere and Hathaway is out cold.

Fight Result: Dong Hyun Kim def. John Hathaway by KO via spinning elbow strike (1:02, R3)
