Extreme Fighting Championships Africa veteran Booto Guylain died from injuries sustained at an February 27th EFC Africa 27 bout, which saw him lose to Keron Davies by third round TKO. According to reports, Guylain suffered serious head injuries in the bout and was transported to the Johannesburg General Hospital for swelling and bleeding on the brain. Guylain passed away a short time later at the young age of 29 years old, he is survived by his wife and one son. Guylain had only been a professional MMA fighter for a short time, amassing a record of 0-2-0 since his November 2013 pro debut.
