Following a loss to Ilir Latifi at UFC Fight Night 37, Cyrille Diabate has announced his retirement from MMA competition, his career record was 19-10-1. Diabate has a four year run in the UFC, fighting eight times in the promotion and amassing a 4-4-0 run in the promotion. During his fifteen year MMA career, Diabate fought top names like Renato Sobral, Mauricio Rua, Luiz Cane, Alexander Gustafsson, Anthony Perosh and Jimi Manuwa.
