Fight #1 - Bellator Welterweight Tournament Opening Round Fight

Jesse Juarez (21-8-0) vs. Adam McDonough (9-0-0)

Referee: Rob Hinds

Round One

The round begins with McDonough catching Juarez with a few lefts, Juarez looks for a takedown and McDonough cracks him with a knee strike. Juarez starts hunting for the takedown on McDonough and he eventually gets it, Juarez gets the full mount and he locks in an arm triangle choke. McDonough eventually escapes the choke after using the cage to scramble and get up, Juarez grabs a hold of McDonough to get standing back control. Juarez looks for the takedown and McDonough winds up on top of him with full mount, McDonough starts attacking Juarez with ground and pound as the round ends.

Round Two

The round begins with Juarez looking for a takedown and McDonough blocking it, McDonough starts popping Juarez with some short range strikes as he controls his head on the ground. Juarez eventually pulls guard on McDonough, McDonough transitions to the half guard of Juarez while landing some strikes. McDonough quickly advances to side control on Juarez before a Juarez scramble forces them to stand up, McDonough trips up Juarez with a spin kick to the leg. McDonough continuously tries attacking Juarez with a spinning back kick, Juarez looks for the takedown and McDonough attacks him with hammer fists as the round ends.

Round Three

The round begins with Juarez catching McDonough with a few jabs, Juarez looks for the takedown and McDonough winds up with back control on him. McDonough starts attacking Juarez with some ground and pound, McDonough starts hunting for the submissions on Juarez. Juarez finds a way to stand up and shake McDonough off of his back, Juarez then scores a takedown on McDonough and they both pop right back up. Juarez scores another takedown on McDonough and he gets back control, McDonough scrambles to get Juarez into the half guard. Juarez rolls for a guillotine choke and McDonough escapes to get on top of him, McDonough hits Juarez with a few strikes as the round ends.

Fight Result: Adam McDonough def. Jesse Juarez by unanimous decision (29-28, 29-28, 29-28)

Fight #2 - Bellator Welterweight Tournament Opening Round Fight

Cristiano Souza (7-0-0) vs. Sam Oropeza (10-2-0)

Referee: Rob Madrigal

Round One

The round begins with Souza attempting a scissor takedown on Oropeza and failing, the fighters exchange knee strikes before Oropeza puts Souza against the cage wall. Souza breaks free before nailing Oropeza with a four punch combo, Oropeza scores a takedown on Souza after catching him with a kick to the rib cage. Oropeza starts attacking Souza with some ground and pound, Souza scrambles to his feet and Oropeza pops him with a few knee strikes. Oropeza drops Souza with a right and he pounces on him with some more strikes until the referee jumps in.

Fight Result: Sam Oropeza def. Cristiano Souza by TKO via strikes (3:07, R1)

Fight #3 - Bellator Welterweight Tournament Opening Round Fight

Nah-Shon Burrell (11-3-0) vs. Andrey Koreshkov (14-1-0)

Referee: Rob Hinds

Round One

The round begins with Koreshkov attacking Burrell with some leg kicks, Burrell responds by landing some kicks of his own. Koreshkov drops Burrell with a kick to the rib cage and he pounces on him with more strikes until the referee jumps in.

Fight Result: Andrey Koreshkov def. Nah-Shon Burrell by TKO via strikes (0:41, R1)

Main Event - Bellator Featherweight Title Fight

Daniel Straus (22-4-0) (Champion) vs. Pat Curran (19-5-0)

Referee: Gary Copeland

Round One

The round begins with Curran quickly hitting Straus with a front kick, Straus then catches an incoming Curran with a left. Curran pops Straus with a knee strike after a missed kick, Curran grabs a hold of Straus before scoring a takedown and getting the open guard. Curran starts to attack Straus with some ground and pound, Straus causes a scramble that gets Curran to back control when it is all done. Curran starts to attack Straus with some knee strikes before standing up, the fighters clinch and exchange a few knee strikes. Curran gets tripped and Straus almost catches him in a front choke as the round ends.

Round Two

The round begins with Curran hitting a kicking Straus with a two punch combo, Straus cracks a kicking Curran with a right and he goes down hard. Straus quickly moves on top of Curran and a Curran scramble gets the fight standing again, Curran recovers by kicking Straus with in the rib cage. Curran then pops a swinging Straus with another two punch combo, Straus responds by catching Curran with a kick to the midsection. Straus starts to win the leg kick battle over Curran, Straus then hits a swinging Curran with a counter left, Curran goes back to kicking Straus in the rib cage. Curran nails Straus with a jumping knee strike as the round ends.

Round Three

The round begins with Curran instantly hitting Straus with a kick to the rib cage, Curran begins to attack Straus with leg kicks. Curran hits a swinging Straus with a counter right that is followed by a head kick, Curran begins to attack Straus with a plethora of rights. Curran grabs a hold of Straus to attack him with a bunch of knee strikes, Straus scores a takedown on Curran and he gets head control. Curran eventually gets back to his feet using the wall walk, Curran hits Straus with a standing elbow strike as they separate. Straus recovers by dropping Curran with a wild left from out of nowhere, Straus stays on top of Curran as the round ends.

Round Four

The round begins with the fighters having a wild striking exchange, Curran grabs a hold of Straus to hit him with knee strikes to the thighs. The referee separates the fighters after inactivity and Straus catches Curran with a high knee, Curran then pops Straus with a three punch combo. Straus catches a swinging Curran with a counter uppercut, Curran attacks Straus with a few kicks to the midsection. Curran follows that up by landing a right to the rib cage of Straus as the round ends.

Round Five

The round begins with Straus swinging wildly at a backing Curran, Straus forces Curran against the cage wall while landing a few knee strikes. Curran changes spots with Straus to nail him with knee strikes, Straus then pops Curran with a left. Curran recovers by hitting a ducking Straus with a knee strike, Curran follows that up with a two punch combo on Straus. Straus recovers by attacking Curran with a head kick. Curran grabs a hold of Straus and he forces him up against the cage wall, Currans cores a takedown on Straus and he gets back control. Curran locks in a rear naked choke and Straus taps out after a long struggle.

Fight Result: Pat Curran def. Daniel Straus by submission via rear naked choke (4:46, R5) to win the Bellator Featherweight Title
