Round One
The round begins with Campos attacking Welch with a left hook, Campos follows that up by popping Welch with an uppercut. Welch responds by catching Campos with an uppercut of his own, Welch dances around Campos while hitting him with jabs. Campos cracks a swinging Welch with a knee strike to the midsection, Welch comes in on Campos and he eats a right for his efforts. Campos backs up Welch by throwing plenty of hard strikes at him, Campos also starts attacking Welch with some leg kicks. Campos swarms on Welch with some punches as the round ends.
Round Two
The round begins with Campos landing a kick to the midsection of Welch, Welch moves around Campos while nailing him with jabs. Campos rocks Welch badly with a right hook, Welch eventually drops as Campos swarms on him with strikes. Welch gets back up and Campos gets him back down with a takedown, Campos locks in an arm triangle choke and Welch escapes after a long struggle. Welch uses the wall walk to get the fight standing again,Welch then pops and incoming Campos with a counter left. Campos responds by cracking Welch with a knee strike and right hook, Welch recovers by hitting Campos with a superman punch. Welch catches Campos with a left hook just as he gets him with a right hook, Campos scores another takedown on Welch as the round ends.
Round Three
The round begins with Campos cracking Welch with a knee strike to the midsection, Campos scores a takedown on Welch and he gets the full guard. Campos quickly transitions to the half guard on Welch, Welch scrambles to get the fight standing again. Campos trips Welch to the ground and he immediately starts swinging at him, Campos settles on top of Welch to attack him with some ground and pound. Campos advances to the half guard on Welch while landing a lot of lefts on him, Campos postures up to kick at the legs of a downed Welch. Welch scrambles to get on top of Campos as the round ends.
Fight Result: Derek Campos def. Tim Welch by unanimous decision (30-27, 30-27, 30-27)
Fight #2 - Bellator Lightweight Tournament Opening Round Fight
Rodrigo Cavalheiro (14-2-0) vs. Marcin Held (16-3-0)

Round One
The round begins with Held charging at Cavalheiro while throwing some strikes, Held scores a takedown on Cavalheiro after eating a left. Held locks Cavalheiro in the toe hold and a tap out soon follows.

Fight #3 - Bellator Lightweight Tournament Opening Round Fight
Patricky Freire (11-5-0) vs. David Rickels (15-2-0)

Round One
The round begins with Rickels attacking Freire with a front kick, Rickels also starts hitting Freire with some leg kicks. Rickels follows that up by nailing Freire with some knee strikes, Freire responds by hitting Rickels with some leg kicks of his own. Freire catches a swinging Rickels with a counter left, Freire begins to land a plethora of jabs on Rickels. Freire wins a striking exchange that rocks Rickels on the cage wall, Rickels grabs a hold of Freire to assault him with knee strikes. Rickels nails Freire with a superman punch, Freire winds up scoring a takedown on Rickels as the round ends.
Round Two
The round begins with Freire nailing Rickels with a spinning back kick to the midsection, Freire rocks Rickels badly with a two punch combo. Freire drops Rickels with a right and he pounces on him with more strikes until the referee jumps in.

Main Event - Bellator Light Heavyweight Title Unification Fight
Atilla Vegh (29-4-2) (Bellator Light Heavyweight Champion) vs. Emanuel Newton (22-7-1) (Bellator Interim Light Heavyweight Champion)

Round One
The round begins with Newton instantly attacking Vegh with leg kicks, Newton moves forward on Veggh while landing a few lefts. Newton continues his attack by catching Vegh with a spinning back kick, Vegh rocks Newton with a head kick before swarming on him with strikes. Vegh then cracks a spinning Newton with a knee strike, the fighters have a wild striking exchange near the cage wall. Newton pops an incoming Vegh with a right hook, Newton holds Vegh up against the cage wall as the round ends.
Round Two
The round begins with Newton quickly going back to his leg kick attack on Vegh, Newton connects with a kick to the midsection of a swinging Vegh. Newton continues to get the better of Vegh in the striking exchnages, Newton then pops Vegh with a superman punch. Newton cracks Vegh with a knee to the ding dong and the fight is halted, the fight resumes with Newton forcing Vegh against the cage wall while landing some knee strikes. Vegh recovers by hitting Newton with a counter right to the head, Vegh follows that up by catching a swinging Newton with a counter left. Vegh charges forward on Newton while landing some strikes as the round ends.
Round Three
The round begins with Newton going right back to the leg kick attack on Vegh, Newton moves forward on Vegh while popping him with a right. Newton continues coming forward on Vegh while throwing strikes, Vegh cracks an incoming Vegh with an uppercut and knee strike. Vegh continuously catches Newton with counter upper cuts, Vegh then hits a swinging Newton with a counter striking combination. Newton looks for the takedown and Vegh cracks him with a knee strike, Vegh hits Newton with a left as the round ends.
Round Four
The round begins with Newton attacking Vegh with a bunch of leg kicks, Newton backs Vegh into the cage wall while landing a few rights. Newton catches Vegh with a kick to the rib cage before eating a right, Newton puts Vegh against the cage wall before hitting him with a knee strike. Newton charges forward on Vegh while landing a few strikes, Vegh pops an incoming Newton with a counter right. Newton backs up Vegh by attempting a spinning back kick, Vegh attempts a takedown on Newton as the round ends.
Round Five
The round begins with Newton charging forward on Vegh while throwing strikes, Vegh responds by nailing Newton with an uppercut. Newton grabs a hold of Vegh and he holds him against the cage wall while occasionally landing knee strikes, Newton separates from Vegh before popping him with a left. Vegh begins to look for the takedown on Newton, Newton again puts Vegh against the cage wall while landing some knee strikes on him. Newton charges forward on Vegh before cracking him with a running knee strike, Vegh catches Newton with a few counter strikes as the round ends.
Fight Result: Emanuel Newton def. Atilla Vegh by split decision (48-47, 47-48, 49-46) to become the unified champion
