3/21- Donations For William Rockwell.

Earlier this afternoon the story linked below was brought to our attention. To those in the wrestling community William Rockwell is better known as "Rocky" and he has been involved with Winnipeg wrestling for well over a decade many of those years spent as a referee.

For those who have the privilege to know Rocky and have had the opportunity to work with him know very well that in a business with all kinds of characters both good and bad he is one of the nicest, most sincere, and kind hearted people to be involved in our profession.

Always a kind soul Rocky always greets you with a smile and friendly conversation and even after tragically losing his leg didn't miss a beat each and every time I personally came in to contact with him.

Although he has personally never worked for Canadian Wrestling's Elite countless wrestlers on our crew including myself have had countless matches of ours officiated by him when appearing for other organizations.

Upon hearing this terribly sad news I got in contact with my crew as a whole in attempt to help our friend in this time of need. We are currently rounding up small food and cash donations to present Rocky during this trying time.

If you are able to and would like to donate to this cause it would be greatly appreciated as we attempt to make this difficult time for him a more positive one. I will be gathering donations over the coming days to present him mid next week. If you would like to contribute please contact me through Facebook under "Hotshot" Danny Duggan or via e-mail at danny@cwecanada.ca

Life can take a turn for the worse at any time and I like to believe if that were to happen to me my friends, family, and people around me would be there to assist in any way possible and I'm sure everyone reading this would hope the same.

If you are able to help out in any way, whether it is big or small, please do.

Thanks in advance,

Danny Warren
