Longtime UFC and UFC Ultimate Fighter 1 alumni Melvin Guillard has been released by the UFC, his current record is 31-13-2-2NC. Guillard has spent a little over eight years in the UFC and he amassed a record of 11-10-0-1NC in the promotion. During those eight years in the UFC, Guillard fought to names like Marcus Davis, Josh Neer, Joe Stevenson, Rich Clementi, Dennis Siver, Gleison Tibau, Nate Diaz, Jeremy Stephens, Evan Dunham, Joe Lauzon, Jim Miller, Donald Cerrone, Jamie Varner, Mac Danzig, Ross Pearson and Michael Johnson. Guillard's last UFC bout came at UFC Fight Night 38 in March of this year, where he lost a unanimous decision to Michael Johnson.
