Ultimate Fighting Championships officials have decided to release Ivan Menjivar from his contract, his current MMA record is 25-2-0. During his near three year run in the UFC, Menjivar earned himself a record of 4-4-0 in the promotion. Menjivar, while in the UFC, fought top names like Mike Easton, Urijah Faber, Wilson Reis and Hatsu Hioki. Menjivar's last fight in the promotion came at the UFC Ultimate Fighter China Finale, which he suffered a decision loss to Hioki.
