A pair of lightweight division competitors are in action at UFC Fight Night 42 as Ernest Chavez faces Elias Silverio. Chavez won his UFC debut back at UFC 170, which is where he defeated Yosdenis Cedeno at UFC 170. Silverio won his previous two bouts under the UFC banner, last defeating Isaac Vallie-Flagg at UFC Fight Night 35. UFC Fight Night 42 takes place on May 31st from the Ibirapuera Gymnasium in Sao Paulo, Brazil with Wanderlei Silva and Chael Sonnen headlining.
