The UFC's final pay-per-view of 2014 will be headlined by a UFC Lightweight Title bout as champion Anthony Pettis defends against Gilbert Melendez. Pettis will be making the first defense of his championship, which he won by defeating Ben Henderson at UFC 164. Melendez is a former Strikeforce Lightweight Champion and this will be his second opportunity at the UFC Light Championship. UFC 182 takes place on December 27th from a location TBA with the aforementioned fighters headlining.
