A middleweight division affair has been added to UFC Fight Night 42 as Damien Maia faces Mike Pierce. Maia will enter the fight riding a two fight losing streak, dropping fights to both Jake Shields and Rory MacDonald. Pierce has won four of his last five under the UFC banner, but his last fight was a loss to Rousimar Palhares at UFC Fight Night 29. UFC Fight Night 42 takes place on May 31st from the Ibirapuera Gymnasium in Sao Paulo, Brazil with Wanderlei Silva and Chael Sonnen headlining.
