Two title fights as Rousimar Palhares defends the welterweight belt against Jon Fitch and Justin Gaethje defends the lightweight gold against Nick Newell. Palhares is a UFC veteran who is making the first defense of his belt, which he won by defeating Steve Carl at WSOF IX. Fitch is also a UFC veteran who earned the title shot after defeating Marcelo Alfaya at the WSOF VI.
Gaethje will be making the first defense of his championship, which he won by defeating Richard Patishnock at WSOF VIII. Newell is currently undefeated in WSOF competition, having defeated both Keon Caldwell and Sabah Fadai. World Series Of Fighting 11 takes place in July from a location TBA with Rousimar Palhares and Jon Fitch headlining.
