Mike Pierce has suffered a broken hand and is off the UFC Fight Night 42 card, he was set to fight Damien Maia at the event. UFC officials are seeking a replacement for Pierce, but nothing has been announced as of this writing. UFC Fight Night 42 takes place on May 31st from the Ibirapuera Gymnasium in Sao Paulo, Brazil with Junior Dos Santos and Stipe Miocic headlining.
