IWF WRESTLING SCHOOL 15th ANNIVERSARY IN NUTLEY, NJ:

WWE Hopefuls Hit The Mat At World-Famous Training Facility!

To Celebrate, One Lucky Military Veteran Will Receive Full Scholarship!

For Immediate Release: April 17, 2014

(NUTLEY, NJ)- Aspiring grapplers ready to rumble and be the next Hulk Hogan can make championship dreams come true at Independent Wrestling Federation's training school in Nutley, NJ.

Established in 1999, IWF teaches prospects from 20 states and nine countries who compete in bouts across the world.  This year marks the 15th anniversary of the famous facility, recognized as the premiere school by industry professionals and media outlets.

To celebrate the milestone, IWF partners with Sirius XM Radio's ‘Busted Open' to select one lucky military veteran for a once-in-a-lifetime chance to learn the ropes for free via full scholarship.  Candidates can apply online at www.CampIWF.com.

"Many brave men and women in our U.S. Military are die-hard wrestling fans," said Dave LaGreca of Sirius XM.  "What better way to give back than to reward a returning veteran an opportunity to pursue a career in the ring."

Kevin Knight, a 17-year professional, leads classes covering basic holds and submission moves.  So far, 31 of his graduates performed at WWE Raw, SmackDown, NXT and TNA events, with 11 receiving employment.

Darren Young, from Union, NJ, joined WWE Raw in 2010 and appeared with ‘The Prime Time Players' before pursuing a singles career.  Robbie E, from Woodbridge, NJ, is a regular on Spike TV Impact Wrestling.  MTV Jersey Shore star Angelina Pivernick trained in 2011 and her sessions aired worldwide on TMZ.

"Wrestlers excel in the program and receive pro contracts as a result of our first-rate training regimen," said Knight.  "We trained 500 students, and this year brings hope that another graduate will make it to WrestleMania."

To enhance training, IWF hosts clinics with legends John Bradshaw Layfield, Tito Santana, Honky Tonk Man, Ricky Steamboat, Tom Prichard and Jim Powers.  IWF also produces events where students showcase skills for family and friends, and hosts birthday parties as kids are treated to pizza and a body-slammin' show.

The all new IWF Centre is a dynamic, state-of-the-art 7,000 sq-ft facility with amazing features such as: new wrestling ring, amateur wrestling/MMA room, dressing rooms, showers, pro shop (merchandise and concessions), nutrition store (supplements and meal plans), lobby and lounge, private party room, offices, and more first-class amenities.

The next beginner class starts May 1st.  For more information, visit www.CampIWF.com.  For military veterans looking to enter the contest for a chance to win a free tuition scholarship, please visit www.campiwf.com/military.html.
