One time UFC competitor Homer Moore has been arrested on first degree murder charges for the 1999 slaying of Karam Hussein Jabbar. Jabbar was found bound and gagged with a bag over his head in a vehicle parked in a Mesa, Arizona grocery store. The medical examiner came to the conclusion that Jabbar had died from asphyxiation, Moore was arrested after a joint effort between the Tempe (Arizona) Police and the US Marshall's Office. Moore's lone UFC appearance came a long way back at UFC 34, where he lost to the late Evan Tanner by submission.
