Capping off another big weekend of MMA action will be ending with another big card from the Cage Warriors promotion. This event will be headlined by the highly anticipated return of Bellator veteran Jim Wallhead to the promotion. There are also a trio of preliminary card fights streaming on Facebook, with six top MMA prospects looking for big wins.
Kicking off the action is a featherweight division attraction as Anthony “Ant†Phillips (5-4-0) battles Adam Ventre (2-0-0). Phillips will be making his Cage Warriors debut in this fight and he has never had a fight go to the judge's scorecard. Ventre will also be making his Cage Warriors debut in this fight and he is a veteran of the Olympian MMA Challenge promotion. Phillips is a fighter who is well known for finishing fights and he will add another to the list as he finishes Ventre.
Up next is a lightweight division fight as Dez Parker (2-1-0) is taking on Charlie “The Ox†Watts (5-1-0). Parker will be making his Cage Warriors debut in this fight and he has only had one career fight go past the opening round. Watts has won four of five fights under the Cage Warriors banner, last defeating Andy Kerr at Cage Warriors 64. Watts is quickly emerging as a top contender in Cage Warriors and he will advance his status as he defeats Parker.
Headlining this portion of the card is a bantamweight division fight as Conrad Hayes (5-2-0) faces Paddy “The Baddy†Pimblett (5-1-0). Hayes will be making his promotional debut in this bout, but he has previously fought Cage Warriors veteran Jordan Desborough. Pimblett has won two of three under the Cage Warriors banner, most notably defeating Martin Sheridan at Cage Warriors 65. This fight is worthy of a spot on the main card, but it will be Pimblett getting the win either way in this one.
