Following the injury to Junior Dos Santos, Fabio Maldonado has agreed to step in on short notice to fight Stipe Miocic at the UFC Ultimate Fighter Brazil III Finale. Maldonado will enter the fight riding a three fight winning streak and he will be making his UFC Heavyweight Division debut in this fight. Miocic has won five of six fights during his UFC tenure, most notably defeating Roy Nelson at UFC 161. UFC Ultimate Fighter Brazil III Finale takes place on May 31st from the Ibirapuera Gymnasium in Sao Paulo, Brazil with the aforementioned fighters headlining.
