TITAN FIGHTING CHAMPIONSHIPS 28 UNTELEVISED PRELIMINARY CARD PREVIEW

By David Tees on 5/12/2014 1:12 PM

While the weekend will conclude with the historical first pay-per-view from Bellator, it will all begin with a loaded card from the Titan Fighting Championships. The event will be headlined by a light heavyweight division contest as Jason Brilz battles Raphael Davis. There are also two fights on the preliminary card that will not be aired in any form, with four prospects in action.

Kicking off the action is a middleweight division bout as Wayne Cole (16-22-0) takes on Tyler “Melee” Minton (3-1-0). Cole will enter the fight riding a ten fight losing streak and he has not won a fight in almost five years. Minton will be returning to action after a two year layoff and he is a veteran of the Cage Brawl Fighting Championships promotion. Cole should not even be stepping into a cage at this point in his career, Minton will return after the long layoff to notch the win.

Headlining this portion of the card is a bantamweight division fight as Archie Lowe (5-3-0) battles Robert Madrid (0-0-0). Lowe will enter the fight riding a two fight losing streak and he has yet to have a fight go to a decision. Madrid will be making his professional MMA debut in this fight and he last competed as an amateur three years ago. Lowe needs a win badly at this point in his career and he will finally get the win as he spoils the pro debut of Madrid.
