TAVARES OUT; BACKSTROM IN AT UFC FIGHT NIGHT 41

Thiago Tavares has suffered an injury and he is off the UFC Fight Night 41 card, replacing him against Tom Niinimaki will be Niklas Backstrom. Niinimaki has been undefeated thus far in UFC competition, having defeated Rani Yahya at the UFC Ultimate Fighter 18 Finale. Backstrom will be making his UFC debut in this fight and he is a veteran of the Cage Warriors promotion. UFC Fight Night 41 takes place on May 31st from 02 World in Berlin, Germany with Mark Munoz and Gegard Mousasi headlining.
