Following the injury to Jake Shields, Josh Burkman has agreed to step in on short notice to fight Jon Fitch for a third time at the World Series Of Fighting 11. Burkman won the second clash between the two at the WSOF III as he choked out Fitch in less than a minute. Fitch won the initial meeting between the two, which came back at UFC Fight Night IV in 2006. World Series Of Fighting 11 takes place on July 5th from a location TBA with Justin Gaethje and Nick Newell headlining.
