ONE FC 16 PRELIMINARY CARD PREVIEW

By David Tees on 5/26/2014 8:48 AM

Kicking off a huge weekend of MMA action that features two separate UFC events will be another loaded card from One FC. The event will be headlined by the highly anticipated One FC debut of former Bellator Welterweight Champion Ben Askren. There will be two fights on the preliminary card featuring four top prospects looking to make an impact in One FC.

Kicking off the action is a bantamweight division bout as Casey Suire (4-0-0) battles Stephen Langdown (1-0-0). Suire has already competed once under the One FC banner and none of his bouts have gone past the opening round. Langdown made his professional MMA debut at One FC 11, which is where he defeated Marc Marcellinus by by TKO. This is a great way to kick of the event, but it will be Suire keeping himself undefeated when he defeats Langdown.

Headlining this portion of the preliminary card is a welterweight division bout as Nik “The Bloodhound” Harris (5-2-0) faces Brad Robinson (2-0-0). Harris is currently undefeated in One FC competition, having defeated Zuli Silawanto by TKO at One FC 12. Robinson will be making his One FC debut in this fight, having previously spent his entire career in the Ultimate Beatdown promotion. Robinson is taking a huge step up in competition and he will falter badly as Harris ends his undefeated streak.
