He is the man behind the international best-selling instructional series "Legal Pain: Mastering The Art Of Pinning" and has committed himself to mastering and integrating Catch-As-Catch-Can on behalf of Scientifc Wrestling.

 

JAKE SHANNON is the founder of Scientific Wrestling, established in 2003 as an independent association of grappling and Catch Wrestling practitioners, historians, and enthusiasts. Scientific Wrestlin Introduced the West to the first open training camps and seminars with Yoshiaki Fujiwara, Dick Cardinal, and Billy Robinson in 2006, and launched the first ever catch-as-catch-can tournaments in the modern age with rules devised with Karl Gotch in 2007.
