HARLEY RACE'S WORLD LEAGUE WRESTLING DEBUTING IN TROY, MO

WLW Debuts Monthly Wrestling Event in Troy, MO
World League Wrestling has officially announced its plans to hold live professional wrestling events in their new location based in Troy, MO! Starting May 31st, the local wrestling promotion owned and operated by 8-Time NWA World's Heavyweight Champion and wrestling legend Harley Race will host a monthly wrestling event at the Race Wrestling Arena.
WLW was started in 1999 by WWE Hall-of-Famer Harley Race. With the intentions of keeping the sport of professional wrestling alive, Race opened up WLW to show fans that professional wrestling is what he loves to do and be involved in. The wrestling promotion has ran over 500 events throughout their lengthy stay in the Midwest. Occasionally, the promotion will have special guest wrestling stars including Vader, Lex Luger, Road Dogg, Butch Reed, "Rowdy" Roddy Piper, and many more.
In December of 2013, WLW and the Harley Race Wrestling Academy relocated to Troy, MO to explore opportunities of adding on to their already large fan base. "St. Louis and its surrounding areas were always great for professional wrestling events. Wrestling at the Chase was huge for close to 25 years for not just professional wrestling, but for Harley Race." says former WWF King of the Ring, "Now, I have the opportunity to keep what I did for so many years alive. I have a great group of young, eager, and determined men and women who want to make it big in the world of professional wrestling. At my academy, I teach the ways that helped me move up in the world of professional wrestling. Starting May 31st, 2014, you will see the sport of pro-wrestling at its best. The way it is meant to be".
Often times WLW will run events to help benefit a local charity or group in need. The company is in the process of setting things up to start running events to help the local community of Troy continue to grow and prosper. Race was also quoted saying "I like this community of Troy. It seems to have a great bunch of people in it. I hope to see everyone there for our events, starting with our first one on May 31st!"
WLW will put on events at the Race Wrestling Arena, located at 198 Cherry Blossom Way in Troy, MO. The building will be able to hold over 200 people and tickets will be $10 per person. Kids 5 & under get in for free. Concessions will be available. No alcohol will be served at the event scheduled for May 31st. Doors will open at 6:00 pm and the event will start at 7:00 pm. You will be able to meet the superstars of World League Wrestling and the owner of the company, Harley Race, at the event itself!
