The UFC Light Heavyweight Title will be on the line at UFC 178 as champion Jon Jones will against defend the gold against Alexander Gustafsson. Jones has previously defeated Gustafsson in a title defense at UFC 165, but he held onto the gold via a controversial decision. Gustafsson earned a second opportunity at the gold when he defeats Jimi Manuwa at UFC Fight Night: Gustafsson vs. Manuwa. UFC 178 takes place on September 27th from the Air Canada Centre in Toronto, Ontario, Canada with the aforementioned fighters headlining.
