LEGACY FIGHTING CHAMPIONSHIPS 32 PRELIMINARY CARD PREVIEW

By David Tees on 6/17/2014 9:46 AM

For the second straight week, there will be another loaded card from the Legacy Fighting Championships promotion. The event will be headlined by a bout for the vacant Legacy FC Bantamweight Title as Thomas Almeida faces Caio Machado. There are only two fights on the preliminary card, but they will feature a bunch of professional MMA debuts.

Kicking off the action is a heavyweight division bout as John Clay (0-0-0) takes on King Gladney (0-0-0). Clay will be making his professional MMA debut in this fight despite not earning any victories as an amateur. Gladney will also be making his professional MMA debut in this fight and he has no amateur experience to speak of. This is as much of a pick 'em fight as there can be on this card, but it will be Clay walking away with his first pro win.

Headlining this portion of the card is a middleweight division bout as Jovon Roberson (0-0-0) faces Brandon Martin (0-0-0). Roberson will be making his professional MMA debut in this fight, with no amateur experience to speak of. Martin will also be making his professional MMA debut in this fight and he did not compete as an amateur either. Picking a winner for this bout falls under the same criteria for the first bout, but I will go with Roberson getting the win.
