Two more bouts have been added to the UFC Fight Night 49 card as Damien Maia faces Mike Pyle and Thales Leites faces Francis Carmont. Maia has won just one of his last three under the UFC banner, with that lone win coming over Alexander Yakovlev at the UFC Ultimate Fighter Brazil III Finale. Pyle has won five of his last six in UFC competition, with a notable win coming over Rick Story at UFC 160.
Leites is currently undefeated in his second UFC run, last defeating Trevor Smith by TKO at UFC Fight Night: Minontauro vs. Nelson. Carmont will enter the fight riding a two fight losing streak, with those losses coming to both Ronaldo Souza and CB Dollaway. UFC Fight Night 49 takes place on August 23rd from the BOK Center in Tulsa, Oklahoma with Ben Henderson and Rafael Dos Anjos headlining.
