UFC ULTIMATE FIGHTER 19 FINALE FIGHT PASS PRELIMINARY CARD PREVIEW

By David Tees on 7/3/2014 8:45 AM

The second of two UFC events this weekend is a rare Sunday event and that event is the UFC Ultimate Fighter 19 Finale. The event will be headlined by a huge featherweight division bout as TUF 19 coaches Frankie Edgar and BJ Penn collide. There are a pair of preliminary card fights airing on UFC Fight Pass, with one of the fights being the UFC debut of submission wizard Robert Drysdale.

Kicking off the action is a light heavyweight division bout as Keith Berish (5-0-0) battles Robert Drysdale (6-0-0). Berish will be making his UFC debut in this fight and only one of his five pro bouts went past the opening round. Drysdale will also be making his UFC debut in this fight and he has finished all six of his previous bouts by submission. Drysdale had a lot of stumbles getting into the UFC, but he has finally gotten his shot and he will defeat Berish to make a successful UFC debut.

Headlining this portion of the card is a women's bantamweight division fight as Alexis Dufresne (5-0-0) faces Sarah “Cheesecake” Moras (3-1-0). Dufresne will be making her UFC debut in this fight and she is coming off of a victory over Kim Couture in a February 2014 fight. Moras will also be making her UFC debut in this fight and her lone pro MMA defeat came to UFC veteran Raquel Pennington. These are two good additions to the women's bantamweight division, but it will be Dufresne remaining undefeated in the end.
