Two championship bouts have been added to the One FC 19 card as welterweight champion Nobutatsu Suzuki defends against Ben Askren and lightweight champion Shinya Aoki defends against Kamal Shalorus. Suzuki will be making the first defense of his championship, which he won by defeating Brock Larson at One FC 14. Askren is a former Bellator Welterweight Champion and he defeated Bakhtiyar Abbasov in his One FC debut.
Aoki will also be making the first defense of his championship, which he won by defeating Kotetsu Boku at One FC VIII. Shalorus is a veteran of the UFC and he is undefeated in One FC competition, last defeating Ariel Sexton at One FC 14. One FC 19 takes place on August 29th from the Dubai World Trade Centre in Dubai, United Arab Emirates with Nobutatsu Suzuki and Ben Askren headlining.
