Following a three year absence to deal with a variety of injuries, former UFC Bantamweight Champion Dominick Cruz will return to action and fight Takeya Mizugaki at UFC 178. Cruz never actually lost the UFC Bantamweight Title, he was stripped of the gold after failing to return from injury for over two years. Mizugaki will enter the fight riding a five fight winning streak, most notably defeating Francisco Rivera by decision at UFC 173. UFC 178 takes place on September 27th from a location TBA in Las Vegas, Nevada with Jon Jones and Alexander Gustafsson headlining.
