Following the removal of Bobby Green from the event, Ross Pearson has agreed to step in and fight Abel Trujillo at UFC Fight Night 47. Pearson has won two of his last four fights, but he is coming off of a controversial loss to Diego Sanchez at UFC Fight Night: Henderson vs. Khabilov. Trujillo will enter the fight riding a two fight winning streak, last defeating Jamie Varner by KO at UFC 169. UFC Fight Night 47 takes place on August 16th from the Cross Insurance Center in Bangor, Maine with Ryan Bader and Ovince St. Preux headlining.
