Pat Curran will be defending his Bellator Featherweight Title at Bellator 123, it will be a rematch against Patricio Freire. Curran won the championship for a second time at Bellator 112, where he submitted Daniel Straus in the fifth round. Freire lost to Curran the first time at Bellator 85, but he won the season ten featherweight tournament to get another title shot. Bellator 123 takes place on September 5th from the Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville, Connecticut with the aforementioned fighters headlining.
