A welterweight division contest has been added to UFC 178 as Brian Ebersole will be facing John Howard. Ebersole will enter the fight riding a two fight losing streak and he has not won a fight in just over two years. Howard has won two of three fights in his second UFC run, most notably defeating Uriah Hall at UFC Fight Night: Shogun vs. Sonnen. UFC 178 takes place on September 27th from a location TBA in Las Vegas, Nevada with Jon Jones and Alexander Gustafsson headlining.
